Dishrags & Gossip

After spending the early part of the week battling with my recalcitrant camera and practically parking myself in front of Photoshop, I took the day off yesterday. I nestled into the corner of the couch, knit, and listened to 44 Scotland Street by Alexander McCall Smith. It was a wonderful day. Nothing like colorful dishrags and a gossipy book to provide a much needed respite from technology and it's "time saving" ways.

  1. I love to sit and crochet while I'm listening to an audio book. I just finished 44 Charles st, by Danielle Steel. Good stuff. That's a beautiful dishrag.. Love the colors!

    1. Thanks, A. Sparkle. The pattern is Ladders, found in my 1979 Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework. By the way, I love your blog's tagline: "Life and art are amusing. It's okay to enjoy it." So true!
