My Morning Office

I need your help. I figured out how to "read" and knit at the same time by listening to audiobooks. But how does one knit and drink coffee simultaneously? Without having to put down the knitting to pick up the mug and then put down the mug to pick up the knitting? One of those beer can hats with the straws is not gonna cut it. The point is to enjoy the coffee while it's hot instead of knitting away and glancing up a half hour later to be reminded that there's a cup of coffee sitting nearby which, meantime, has grown stone cold. (I know, I know, first world problems, right?) A mug cozy is only going to delay the coffee cooling. It won't help with the consumption part. (Although, it would look awfully cute and stylish... Something like this or this would be delightful.) Ditto those little hot plate warmers for a single mug. What's a dedicated, glacially slow knitter to do?

Declutterfication update: A day long general clean-up of the house. Oh, how I absolutely despise dusting. Anyone have a good way to dust without employing commercially made products that actually cleans up the dust rather than spread it around, launch it into the air, and inhale most of it up one's nasal passages?
