How Knitting = Sanding

The sympathy of knitting and drywall repair goes something like this:

DRYWALL REPAIR

Jon: I'm at a good stopping point [from pulling screws out of the kitchen floor] for lunch. How about you?

Me: [put down sanding block] Yeah, I can stop now. [pick up sanding block, continue sanding]

When I finish this row, I'll go to bed.

I'm so sleepy. What time is it?
