A mourning dove and her nest. A nest in a hollowed beech tree. Eastern phoebe(?) on her nest tucked under the porch eaves.
Wild flowers (& a ladybug!) in the yard and an unidentified tree. Any ideas? It's about 10 feet tall with a slim, central trunk only about as big around as a wrist. The branches grow more upward than outward, the spread is about 4 feet. I can't remember what shape the leaves are, but they will be green.
