Another dishcloth for the bursting drawer of dishcloths.
Surely our kitchen design was less than stellar if the dishcloth drawer is already bursting. Surely it's not because I make these things faster than I wear them out? Surely not.
This one all started with an email from Webs (yarn.com). They have a gorgeous, soft, super bulky tweed by Debbie Bliss on sale that immediately put me in mind of a chunky scarf for a certain someone on my Xmas list.
I began by thinking of a 2-color, striped scarf design. But something with a little more interest. Bumps. Bumps would be texturally and visually interesting. So out came the cotton stash to work up a possible stripe design. And another dishcloth is born. Perfectly innocent, yes?

(wouldn't it look kinda festive & candy cane-y in red and white?)
